How often does the Scaffolding Association of QLD meet up and do I have to attend?
Attendance at meetings by SAQ members is not compulsory. SAQ members may contribute their thoughts and opinions to the Scaffolding Association via email and post. The Scaffolding Association of Qld’s AGM is held in Brisbane with all members invited to attend. Committee meetings are also held in Brisbane.
What are the Requirements for Membership with SAQ?
Members are required to agree to a code of ethics contained within the SAQ constitution. The code of ethics demands ethical behaviour within the SAQ and in business.
How do I Become a Member of the SAQ?
The application process is a simple procedure but does require some verification before approval. For further information or to receive an application form please contact the Scaffolding Association of Queensland.
How long does it take to join SAQ?
Once your application has been submitted and approved, your membership will be granted in 2-3 weeks.
What is an Associate Member?
The SAQ accepts membership nominations from companies that do not necessarily operate as scaffolders but have a significant interest with the scaffold industry in Queensland. Examples of Associate Members Include:
• Insurance company providing specific services for scaffolding companies
• Manufacturing company supplying mesh guard or scaffold related building materials.
