Recently SAQ made contact with two associations, which we feel will be of benefit to all of our members.

The first contact was with the giant  NASC (National Access & Scaffolding Confedration), of the UK. This is a really great site, and has vast membership. It was founded over 60 years ago in 1945, and has achieved the wonderful status, of having major contractors insisting that only scaffolding contractors with NASC membership will be allowed to carry out their scaffolding requirements.  One regular segment is 'Safety Alerts'.  This section makes interesting reading.

The second contact made was with  SARNZ  (Scaffolding and Rigging New Zealand). They were founded in 1994, and have over 70 members. At present this site is being overhauled, so we will keep everyone informed on the ongoing dialogue between our associations.
